Sometimes it does not work and need to try harder

There are times when things just don't work. Like me trying to get up early or learning a language. So I have decided to give one more try from today as well as decided to focus on 3 things out of 5.
1. Getup at 5am.
2. Play tennis or any exercise 5 days a week.
3. Learn Verilog programming.

I will still continue doing other things but focus will be on these 3 things every day until I excel.

Karma in Action

Something amazing happened to my life on Friday last week. I was looking to work in a group and was rejected. On Friday, someone from that group came to me and requested me to join. This was the most amazing thing that happened to me. I realized how life is and if you work hard, do you best..best things will come to you..come to you every day. Believe in what you do and do your best. I think this will happen for everything I do. I want to start a business and this is what has inspired me to start all over again.

Best blog to read ever

Techcrunch is precisely the best blog one should read to understand the silicon valley. It has great reporters who understand the market and are far reaching to provide information needed before its on the news.

30 day experiment to let go

Every day from today I will let go a thing, an object. This experiment is to simplify my life as well as see what really matters. If this experiment is successful then I will try the same experiment with thoughts though I think it will be a lot tougher. But I would like to try any ways. Each object will be attached here along with who bought it. I might also add a little bit about who bought it and what their life is all about.

Day 1:Back pillow

5 ways to live in the present

Living in the present has been considered the most preferred way to live by Buddhism. I am experimenting a similar lifestyle and would like to list 5 ways to better live in the present:-

1. Meditate:- Meditation exercises your brain to live in the present. Every time you inhale and exhale your life is taking in and giving back. During this time, stay in the present. Focus on the breathing, feel the air at the edge of your nose going into you and then hold. Release the air(jiv) back to the world.

2. Eat, Drink, Drive slowly:- Every time you do any of the following the activities, try to focus on the activity. Each activity will give you the please and keep you in the present.

3. Do nothing:- Just do nothing. Let life do its thing and enjoy the moments around you without controlling them.

4. Love and think love and kindness:- What you feel, think will happen. Spend time thinking about others and loving them. Even if you don't like them just share the love and kindness without any expectations.

5. Focus on everything you do:- Focus on everything you do in life. This life will make you do extraordinary things if you focus on things you do. Donot think why you are better or worse then others, just do it and enjoy while doing it.

I hope this helps you live in the present and enjoy your life

How can you achieve your goal ?

Oscar is a great inspiration to me and I have been following his blog pretty closely since last few months. This is how I am going to reach my goals: freestylemind

Living a free life

This is my attempt to start a new free life. Simple. Currently I am a decent hardware engineer at a typical Fortune 500 company and my goal is rediscover my life, turn it upside down and make it the most exciting, awesome year. The goal is to reach that by end of year 2010.

My Goals:-
  • Running my own company by end of 2010, $15M by end of year 2013.
  • Live life well everyday. Enjoy every day. Make a difference every day.
  • Do good to others. Write and learn great things which I had stopped myself from in last 25 years
I need your help to achive these goals but I will reach it by decemeber 2010. Though, this is just the start and there is too much to learn, enjoy in the future.
